Welcome to The Sacred Grove. As part of your membership requirements, you must follow all rules set forth below and keep up with any changes herein as you will not always be notified of updates.
1. Respect all members. This forum is open to pagans of all kinds and there will be some members who consider themselves primarily Christian with pagan tendancies. If you cannot accept the differences among the membership, please leave now. If you do not remove yourself and I find you poisoning our Grove with your filth, you will be banned immediately. There are no second chances when it comes to respect.
2. Agree to disagree. This goes along with Rule 1. As previously stated, pagans of all shapes and sizes are welcome here. While we all recognise that balance is the key to life, we are also human and sometimes let our emotions get the better of us. (The Admin. is a female and knows all too well about letting emotions get the better of her.) We should therefore be mature adults and recognise that we can agree to disagree on topics and not let conversation get out of hand.
3. Language. While there is no word filter on this site, you are urged to curb your tongue as much as you can. That is not to say that you should not use certain unacceptable words at all, but use them moderately. If people decide to travel the road of the ignorant and use "the F word" every 5 words, the filter will go on.
4. Act Your Age, Not Your Shoe Size. No truer words have been spoken than these seven words of wisdom sung by the artist sometimes known as Prince, other times by a weird symbol. This forum is for adults, so please act like one. If you can't, people will know in more ways than one.
5. Moderation Team. The moderators are chosen solely at the discretion of the Administrator of this forum. Do not harass the Administrator nor any Moderators regarding any open positions. You may assume that there are no open positions and therefore should not ask about any.
6. Problems. If you have any problems with someone on the forum contact one of the moderators immediately. Do not engage in an arguement either on the forum or on the private message system. The moderator is there to mediate between the two parties. If you take matters into your own hands, there is no proof of who said what and both parties will be banned.
7. Advertising. The only acceptable advertising for your own website is within your signature with a link and all sites must be of a pagan nature OR one that advertises your own works.
8. Any links to sites with inappropriate materials will find the member immediately banned.
9. Personal Information. Please do not share any personal information of any kind anywhere on this site. We do not want to be held liable for any problems that should arise from a negative situation. Email addresses may be exchanged privately, but any time there is a post containing an email address it will be removed by the Admin. or moderators.
